W.I. members heard a very interesting talk last week by Lt Col Colin Fairclough of the Salvation Army. Col Fairclough has worked all over the world for the Salvation Army including a rather isolated posting to St Helena. His last post was as head of the Salvation Army Tracing Service in London, where he had great pleasure in reuniting many families with long lost members. W.I. members had the opportunity of putting their names down for outings and courses due to take place during the next few months, and of exchanging news and views over tea and cakes to conclude the meeting. Why not come along to the Village Hall on the second Tuesday of the month at 8 p.m. you will be very welcome.
