On the day agreed - Tuesday 20th March!On time 8pm precisely!
Mrs Beverley Griffiths, Head Teacher Halstead Community Primary School pressed the button and the brand new website went live! We were able to view the site in the school's computer suite, discuss it and give some feedback on its contents.
It has taken just a year for the committee to plan and for Shaun Richards to design and build this website which we hope will be useful for all the village.
We now need your help to develop it - let us know what else you would like to be included to make it really useful. Many of those present wanted the chance to discuss local issues and Shaun said this would be possible if enough people want to use the website in this way.
Let us know if you would like to help in any way.
Future meetings of the website committee will be published so that you can send in your ideas or even come along!
Thanks are due to Lewis Grey who provided the wine and nibbles which added to the sense of occasion.
