Halstead Women's Institute was reformed as an evening institute in 1965 and we are well on our way to our 50th anniversary. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month in Halstead Village Hall at 8 p.m. and finish at around 10 p.m.

Our meetings are very friendly and informal and we enjoy talks by a variety of speakers covering a wide range of topics to suit all tastes. We finish our meeting with tea and cakes/biscuits and a good chat.

Throughout the year we also have various outings, including a day trip to France (you can bring a friend or partner) and a trip to London to visit a place of interest.

Come and join us, meet old friends or make new ones - we are a very sociable crowd and would make you very welcome.
