Halstead Women's Institute was reformed as an evening institute in 1965 and recently celebrated it's 40th anniversary. We meet the second Tuesday of every month in Halstead Village Hall at 8 p.m. and finish at around 10 p.m.
Our meetings are very friendly and informal and we enjoy talks by a variety of speakers covering a wide range of topics to suit all tastes. We finish our meeting with tea and cakes/biscuits and a good chat.
Throughout the year we also have various outings, including a day trip to France (you can bring a friend or partner) and a trip to London to visit a place of interest.
Come and join us, meet old friends or make new ones - we are a very sociable crowd and would make you very welcome.
