Halstead is a small village branch with 25 members.  It organizes the Poppy Appeal in Halstead and Badgers Mount, and in 2009 this amounted to over £5,000 and it contributes to the Remembrance Service at St.Margaret's Church.

During the year it organizes an outing to a place of interest and holds a social evening with a talk and refreshments.

Our AGM is held in October.  The formal business of the meeting is usually followed by a talk from a suitable speaker, all helped down by a glass of wine.
